A Note on Pricing
People often ask "are you the cheapest?". The answer of course is no. Nor am I the most expensive. You may be able to find someone who simply calls themselves a “tax preparer” or even a cheap CPA who offers to do your taxes for a bargain basement price. It’s a classic case of you-get-what-you-pay-for. Do you really think a tax preparer or low budget CPA who offers a cheap one-size-fits-all price is really going to take their time and sweat blood over your tax return? Why would you want to take the risk trusting your finances to someone like that?
Use Bill Mish, CPA and you’ll be able to rest easy knowing you’re in good hands and your taxes are done right.
The IRS has too many other forms to list here. The simple ones add little or nothing to the cost of your return. Others like education credits add a little to the cost of the return but prices are reasonable and I will let you know when I see what you have going on.
Expat tax situations vary widely but they are all more complicated than US resident returns. A ballpark range for US expat pilot tax return prep is $600 depending on complexity.
Business Tax Returns
Side Businesses & Rental Properties vary greatly in complexity so it's impossible to publish a restaurant style menu of prices without discussing your situation. As with individual returns, my prices are reasonable and I can give you a quote when I see your situation.
